busy week! last night was m.i.a.'s concert (astro is right, very exotic music but i found many of her songs sounded the same) and tomorrow night is metric. coincidentally both concerts were/are at the phoenix concert hall. so along with obligatory dinners and parties this upcoming weekend, my explorations into hermit-hood have to be put on hold for this week ...
which is a little bittersweet because i want to populate my new online store with more items! my paypal verification went through and now i can start promoting the happy d five-and-dime. what do you think?

how was the metric concert? i'm thinking it was better than mia. for some reason mia's music started to annoy me. maybe cause it sounds a bit on the whiny side.

thanks anonymous! a show is not even on my radar, as redesigning this site is a higher priority.
astro: metric's concert was absolutely awesome. the whole band has great stage presence and emily sings and dances with a bit of eccentricity. very cool. strangely the concert was all ages and there were tweens there, tweens! on a school night!
i'm so happy i was able to snag tix though. first date was sold out in 2 days and luckily they added a 2nd show on wednesday which i was able to get tickets for. this show sold out as well and there were scalpers outside trying to buy tickets!
